Here’s a short video showing a jig for putting a lot of pressure on pressure sensitive adhesive backed edge banding quick and easy. It’s pretty straight forward and quick and easy to set up with small storage needs. I’m not a huge fan of PSA backed edge banding, but this jig lays down a lot of pressure quickly.
Does anybody know of a weight scale that could measure the pressure of this jig? I don’t personally see an obvious way to use a home weight scale to measure it, as it would only hit the edge of the scale. I’d like to measure what kind of pressure these rollers are exerting. It’s a lot, as I can watch the rubber tear off the roller if I have the rollers too close.
