Edge Sanding Guide Compatibility

I have and older ETS 125 EQ-Plus and would like to consider the 205316 - Edge Sanding Guide.  Can someone outright say that it will or it won't fit.  I understand that there is a later/improved 125 but that isn't what I have.

I suppose in Festool's defense they did write clearly which models it does work with in 3 places on the webpage for the edge sanding guide. I do agree though that they should have put "NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OTHER SANDERS". One simple sentence would have ended the 5 or so threads on FOG alone that ask if it works with other sanders. Festool could still add that to their description quite easily.

The description should've included Pro5 Ltd. Not every Pro5 Ltd owner knows it's the same as the ETS 125.

Good point! I have a Pro5 myself. Was about to sell it when they announced the edge sanding guide.

And no one has heard about a parts upgrade for the ETS 125 EQ to upgrade to REQ?
Turns out the marriage is off, the edge sanding guide didn’t like my mature ETS.
