Just pulled the trigger on a Conturo and kit. I’ve got two upcoming jobs for it, both paint grade situations. Interested in shortening my learning curve wrt banding material. Historically I’ve just ironed it on. Haven’t checked to see what’s even available at my local supplier (PNW) but any opinions/reasoning on thickness to use? TIA

Seeing as these will be painted, go with 0.020 unfinished maple.

I had to go back home for a few weeks. The guys got the jobs done and needed to find things to fill time.
They fabricated this cart for the edgebanding. They're going to install "fingers" between the rolls to keep the banding from falling sideways off the rolls.
