EHL 65 E Planer

Hi guys,
I am contemplating the purchase of the EHL65E Planer for an interior door install job that is coming up. Does anyone have any experience with this planer? Will it put a bevel on the edge of a door? I noticed in the catalog that the angle stop is a listed accessory only for the HL850E.

Ill sell you a really good second hand one... There a great plane smooth finish on the door edge every time even on the hardest of internal door...

Great planer , but yeah the fence doesn't angle. It's easy enough to just tilt the planer slightly though if you want to take a leading edge off a door.

That's all I do, free hand the angle.  You soon get a feel for it.
