Curious if anyone has seen this link below? Strange website for it. No mention as far as I can tell about who makes it. Any ideas?

It looks like it is available here in the US. I am starting to believe the reason for Festool not bringing over the conversion kit for the track saw to be used as a table saw may not be regulatory? Granted this unit below is all battery powered.

Saw it a few months back now.. Seems like more of a gimmick than anything if i'm honest!

I had a chance to play around with one of these, they suck. No accuracy at all, the slop is monumental. Blade deflection can be measured in cm, not mm. The drill motor started bogging down with a 1/4" bit into a 2x4 and couldn't even power a 1" forstner bit on a fresh battery. Even given all that, it could be dealt with. However, the circ saw is INCAPABLE of making a through cut on a 2x4. Flip the board or use the jigsaw. No thanks. You can build a far more capable kit for far less money from harbor freight tools.

That seems like it should be $99.00 not $599.00. I 've always thought things like that were cool ideas , but they generally end up being impractical regardless of price.

That's the sort of stuff I'd expect to see on a shopping channel ... BUY NOW !!!

... and the first fifty callers will also receive this special "space technology" bit set normally worth .....

One of the reviews stated in came with one battery.

That seems odd to me.

Maybe they figure the user will get fed up and toss it out before they go through the first battery's charge?
