Based on information in another thread, I would like to buy the elbow that comes with the new tapered 32mm hose and fits in the new T-Lock Midi/Mini vac inlet.  From the other thread, it will apparently work with the 36mm hose, too?

I could not find it on Festool's Ekat site.  Does anyone know the part number please?

I've asked before but just want to make sure . . . Is there a similar part that would connect a 36mm to a 27mm hose? I did find an after market reducer based on FOG feedback but I need another and just wondered before I buy the 3rd party adapter again.

Here's a document (attached below) showing how to connect various hose types, along with max lengths.

Neat document, Shane! I've not seen that before.

Does this mean that the 11' 36mm hose that came with my CT36AC is not well suited (too long) to be used with the RO150? Or am I not understanding correctly?

Wayne, I'm not sure what makes you think that from the document I posted. The maximum hose lengths in that document are well beyond 11'. Of course, the CT 36 AC's hose does not fit the Rotex.

Doh! Because it was late and I am an idiot?!!

I read those max lengths as inches, not as feet.  [eek]  Big difference.

Sorry to have stirred things up because of a simple misunderstanding. I'll go take my meds and lie down now...

Update:  I spoke to Brad in Festool support.  He said that it did not look like there was anyway for a 36mm hose to fit inside or over the 32mm end of the elbow.  So, I am going to look for a local source for an elbow that will fit rather than order it and risk it not fitting.
