ohhhh, router class in June.  That is one I wanted to go to.

Better ask the Warden for some time away. [big grin]

Shane...I see that besides the router class there is only the full cabinet and door class in August scheduled in Indianapolis.  I would like to attend a cabinet and door class.  Is there likely to be any classes added for this location before fall?

Welcome to the forum!

I have no doubts that there will be more opportunities to attend that class. However, there are literally hundreds of people on our subscription list to be notified of new listings. So subscribe and when it's listed act very quickly. That class filled within 15 minutes of being posted.

Shane,

All six of the cabinet makers currently working for me voted that I should attend the June Intro to Festool class in Henderson. Actually all of us have been using Festools since 2005 or 2006 successfully. Still, you can never have too much training.

Unfortunately I would be meeting myself since I am in the May Door and Drawer class in Henderson. Occasionally I do need to work in my shop making cabinets.

Seriously, everyone who wants the most from their Festools should take the Intro class. Steve Bace, who runs the Henderson Training Facility, started Festool end user training. Brain "The Sedge" Sedgeley, who holds forth in Lebanon, also is a marvelous trainer.

My motive for considering this Intro class is the rumor that the first person to participate in all available Festool End User classes will get some sort of prize. The D&D class will be my fourth, so I am almost there.

Bummer that back in early 2006, when my only Festools were a CT22, a TS55 and an OF1010 such an Intro class was not available.

Hmm... I guess everyone on the forum who wants to attend training has already been.

No takers to sign up for these classes?

Well, if you're desparate & want to pay the airfare.... [poke]

I'm signed up for the router class in NV.

Shane,

As I said before everyone working for me has voted that I should attend the Intro to Festool 101 class in June. They believe they are more productive when I am out of town.

Spending time in Henderson at the Festool Training Facility with Steve Bace is always educational. Besides there is a rumor anyone who attends all the training classes gets a special shirt or some sort of swag. The bummer is I actually have vital meetings in Burbank during the Intro June dates.

Seriously, many of us are experienced woodworkers before we bought any Festools. Trust me, being coached by Steve Bace or Brian "The Sedge" Sedgeley will add enormous value to you and your Festools.
