I am trying to figure out on how to use epoxy for counter top.
I know how to mix and applying the product but i have a few questions for those of you who knows about this stuff.
I want to know how to get the epoxy to form on the edge of a countertop?
What I'm trying to say is when you pour the mixture on the top,the resin epoxy stays and dries pretty thick on the top,but on the edge the epoxy will just drip down.
I have read somewhere that you can form a dam using laminate and using vaseline so that the epoxy does not stick to it.
Is that the best idea? Is it possible to put multiple coats? Can you sand each coats before applying the next coat?
I also like to know how would go about making a countertop with things like sea glass, sea shell,etc...
But also need to know on how to keep the edge smooth?
Also any idea where a good place to buy epoxy resin?
Thanks Jerry
