Ok, so I spent a LOT of time searching the web for recommendations on the best way to sand drywall, something I loathe (almost as much as mudding drywall) and I found enough posts about using the Festool products that I decided to take a leap.
I purchased the CT26, and ETS 125 and 120 grit paper. Skeptical, but hopeful.
I just sat down at my computer after nearly 90 minutes of sanding, I did not wash, wipe or even clap my hands between the time I set down the ETS 125 and sat down at my computer....
There is not even a single SPEC of drywall dust on my hands, arms, sleeves, shoulders or head. Normally after only 30 minutes I have a charley-horse in my bicep and look like I've been standing in a snow globe.
I am SOLD SOLD SOLD. I will never sand drywall again, or anything else, for that matter, without using the CT26 and a Festool sander.
Sorry, just thought I'd share, for anyone who might be as skeptical as me. Go spend the money, you will NOT be sorry, your wife will be a LOT happier and you'll probably enjoy sanding drywall for a change (ok, maybe not).
