ETS 125 EQ sander help needed.

The last Festool sander I bought was a RTS 400 which essentially has the same powerplant as the DTS 400 and the ETS 125.

My DTS400 sander also refused to move when I got it new. I already had a used DS400 and a used RTS400 so I knew how these sanders should behave. The new DTS was sluggish and had no power compared to the others. Reading here about the break in I decided to keep using it instead of returning the sander, and after two tormentous weeks of use, it finally got full power and behaved like it should.

My ets125 did the same thing. You do have to basically not apply any pressure and let the sander do the work. After using it for several hours it got much easier to control. I kinda wonder now if there's a break in period like on the RO's

When they go a brushless motor, then that break-in period will go away.

It shouldn't be there in the first place with brushes either. I know of no other brand where this happens and I find it quite stupid Festool lets these sander go out of the factory like this. The number of reports of these 3 sanders behaving badly is astounding, while they're very good sanders once broken in.
