Hi guys

Just ordered an ets 125 for a friend and it came in a Cardboard box

I asked my dealer if I could get a systainer and told they are discontinued
And no longer available

I have bought a few festools over the years and have never bought one without a systainer

Can anyone shed any light on this please

Mick

The current ets/rts/dts models come in two versions in UK, and here in ZA. I assume its the same throughout the EU.
Namely the Req model which I'm guessing is what you ordered which comes in a cardboard box and the Req-Plus version which comes in a Systainer Sys-2. They have different model numbers.

Huh?  I guess it must be a Festool Europe thing, as I've never seen a systainer-less option here in the US.

Indeed it is. We can buy several different packages per tool.

. The first Version Shinex came in a Cardboard box to the US, while you saw fitted Systainers for it over in Europe.  Not sure if the superseded Shinex still sells here in a box...
