I thought for a moment about putting this is the problems forum but I don't really think it is a problem.
I've been using both the Festool ETS EC 150/5 and EC 150/3 sanders since May and they've been really great. But yesterday was the first time I needed to do contours and used the Interface Pad with the 150/3. The sander was set to max speed but as I'm going over the contours, I noticed the sander would slow down and speed up. At first, I thought there was an issue but I noticed that if the pad looked like it was slowing down, the sander would speed up - and vice versa.
At the end of the day, the results were great and I'm chalking it up to another feature I hadn't known about, but I wanted to make sure. The sander does ramp up and down depending on the situation?
Thanks!
