I have been going back and forth with this myself. I have the $99 Pro5 LTD coming as my first Festool sander and intend to use that just for high grit finishing sander (150 grit or so and up) and would like to have one other as a more all around sander (say 60-80 to 120). I dont really do much rough wood sanding, so it certainly doesnt have to be as strong or as heavy as the Rotex, but I would like to be able to use the hard pad that the Pro5 LTD doesnt have an option for. I was thinking of going with the ETS EC 125 as it would also allow me to share papers with the Pro5 LTD should I ever want to (which would probably be unlikely) and is $100 less than the ETS EC 150/3 & 150/5. However the larger size of one of the 150 units might be nice to have. I dont think I need a 5mm stroke over a 3mm stroke, but Im still kinda undecided there. So its just been that kind of back and forth for me.
