ETS150/3 locking button sticks?

Hi
I've just bought a ETS150/3 sander. The locking button sometimes remains stuck after I hit the on/off button. It's not a major problem since it releases itself quite happily with a little jiggle and it doesn't always stick. I just wonder whether it's something other people have experienced or not?
Also should a new ETS150/3 come with a multi-jestream pad? Mine didn't - although the dealer is kindly swapping one out for me. But the discs I got are all multi-jetstream so it seems odd the pads haven't switched over yet?
Thanks,

First, welcome to the forum!  [smile]

It looks like you are located in the UK.  I would recommend that when your dealer swaps out the pad, that they also swap out the sander that goes with it  [smile] since you're having trouble with the lock button.  I don't know the status of Multi-Jetstream in the UK, but in the US we are just starting to get sanders with the new pads from Germany.  There will be more information in SysNotes, our email newsletter, which is scheduled to go out on Thursday.  You can sign up on the home page of the Festool USA website if you don't already receive it.

Thank you Shane for your prompt reply and welcome! I'm sure my dealer would swap it out - but they aren't local so it's a bit of a hassle returning it. I'll have another go with it later. There does seem to bit quite some movement in the switch which seems to be why it's getting stuck. But perhaps that't normal?

Had another quick go with the sander this evening. I think it's ok - the on/off switch needs more pressure to release the lock than my outgoing Metabo sander so it appeared like it wasn't releasing. At least I hope that's it!
