Hoping someone can help, are there two euro leads one with a lighter cable and one with a heavier cable?

and why the green cable is it different for a reason or just cosmetic?

thanks

Hi
There is only only one gauge of lead for Europe - two pin and three pin versions.
The diffrence with the green cable is that it is designed from a heavier duty material for Automotive environments - due to this it is less flexible. Machines such as the Shinex have this type of lead.

I think there is only one type of lead/connector for the 230v/240v leads - certainly I use them all interchangeably and I have pretty much a full range of stuff.

The green lead is much nicer material than the black ones - firmer but slicker, sort of silicone rubber - I recently bought a green lead which I leave permanently plugged into the CT26. The green lead only comes with a euro two pin plug - I was going to snip it off and replace it with a UK 3 pin plug, but then decided to get a euro plug module for the CT26 - all from Nuts & Bolts.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Phil's post crossed with mine, but they are consistent I think
