I noticed that Blum was showing lateral stabilizers for my Movento 36" wide drawer x 350 travel application.
After a while, I realized it was just Blum trying to sell the top equipment.
They are a rack and pinion system to synchronize the right and left side of the drawer, in case you have not seen them.
36 inches is getting pretty wide, but I have done 32" with Tandem slides and one center pull and it was fine.
My workshop has 40" side mount drawers, and yeah, maybe they want to rack a bit, but with one center pull, they are OK.

Anybody ever use the Lateral Stabilizers ?
Any comments ?
Do they impart a "feel" of a higher level of quality ?

Every drawer 36” wide or wider gets them. Any push to open drawer over 22” gets them. They make a world of difference on the PTO’s.

Guessing that Tom is saying PTO -> Push to Open

What Rick said.

If we're installing Movento's the units are probably PTO's and getting Tip-Ons set on the slides. As I mentioned above the wider drawers get syncronizers whether it be hand open or PTO. The rods help closing more than open if the wide drawers are not PTO.

Hi,

I am using them on a project right now.  They aren’t terribly expensive and are easy to install.  I recommend using them.

I once asked [member=3130]Dan Rush[/member] about those and he told me that are very commonly used on large drawers in especially high-end situations.
