Exeter Tool Fair

I went there a couple of years ago and it appeared to be around 50% of the stands were companies selling LED or security lighting or Rexel owned electrical distributors under different guises trying to push trade accounts.

Has it improved?

Genuine question too.

I went last year, and really enjoyed it.  I'm going again on Thursday.  Phil - will you be there?  It would be great to say hello.

Last year Axminster were giving away 10% discount vouchers to be spent in store.  I was on my way to Axminster anyway, and need up with a 14" Jet bandsaw and DF-500 Domino, both of which were already on offers.  An expensive day!  I hope they aren't doing the same this year!

The professional builder based tool fair is half electrical. I go to the Harrogate one each year, I may go to the Manchester one this June as I arrived too late and every stand virtually was packing up.

I went 2 years back when on the truck tour and there were a lot of lighting companies present but also all the main power/hand tool manufacturers.
No idea if the profile of the show has changed.
