Great idea to bundle with the GRE too!

True, did not consider shortening them all the way to fit a SYS-5 vertically and went 376 which fits horizontally in a SYS1 or SYS3 ... but the concept works the same.

the objective of this GRE-13 Set is to leave it attached to your 55" guide rail for all around use and not separate this  set up. Use your existing GRC-12 whenever you need to join two longer rails. It will grow on you - just wait and see.

Our GRE-13 Kit production lot is all packaged up on the shelf ready to ship. Omitting the GRC-12 Connector and reducing the cost of the kit by the lower bundle price of the GRC-12 will not be worth your while. You'll be better off to hold on to your GRC-12 and if you really, really find no use for the second one, then go ahead and sell it to get your money back.

What??

I’ve heard that this is an issue with the TS75, but the regular TS55 works fine doesn’t it. I’m going to seriously doubt myself if people tell me the 1400 isn’t long enough to cross cut a 4x8 sheet. I did it for a decade, I’m sure it is long enough to fully support the saw!

But I admit extra length is nice. I’ve been using the new Metabo rails for a year or more (love them) and they are 800 or 1600

Answer: since literally thousands of our customers already have one of our 3mm Hex Drivers included with a number of our major product lines we give you the choice to add one to the GRE-13 or save a few bucks [smile]

Hate to say it - but my first thought was - has anyone tried using this to extend the cut on an MFT/3 rail?

Just wondering if the length out in front of the "slop stop" would be too much leverage and weight to use this way.

Would be a great way to add a few more inches of width for cross cutting. I know that there might be slightly more tear out on the underside of those un-supported edges, but if it works it sure would be nice.

May have to bolt it up and gently place my saw there to check it out.....

The front hinge indexing pin would limit forward wood not even taking into consideration the rail length.  Also wouldn't the connectors prevent the front rail indexing thingy from engaging the rail?

I think you are correct Peter - The rail connector wouldn't allow the "slop stop" from engaging the rail, AND it would hit the wood...........

Looks like a good idea so you don't have to be so exact on the placement of your track to make sure you get full depth on start and finish and full sport on track. 
Now if they could just get the parallel guide items in stock for more than 30 seconds it would be nice.
