thought this might be useful inspiration to anyone who needs to do some awkward routing. the beginning of the video shows how i made the rebates deeper on a window. i made the window for 12mm sealed units and then decided to go with 16mm which needs deeper rebates.
the larger router base is made from 6mm tufnol and recessed to make it effectively the same thickness as a standard base plate, i use this quite often and in this case just stuck some aluminium angle and flat bar for extended support.
