Thinking that a MFT/3 table with a clamp kit will be my next major purchase.
I did not realize the number of thing that one can do with one of those.

So, tell me what you guys use your table for the most, wether it be a 1080 or the MFT/3.

I plan on building quite a few cabinets soon and doing a few built ins (on site),
plus I love the clamps, they are all awesome and expensive.

Help push me over the edge a bit more!!

1)  outfeed table for Kapex
2)  table for cutting pocket holes and assempply of frames
3)  making Domino mortises
4)  holding crap that should have been put away.

My MFT 3 is an unbeatable combination with a TS 55 for cross cutting cabinet components. Your work will be faster, more accurate and repeatable.
The stop block is nicely machined with no play. I will take Paul David Thomas' advice and buy an extra. Having two ready to cut at different lengths will really help.
Dave Ronyak is being modest. Check out his four piece entertainment center in member projects to see how invaluable an MFT can be. Jerry Work and many others have demonstrated the MFT capabilities too.
I also use mine a lot as a clamping table for routing and sanding. Works well for irregular shaped pieces like curved boat tillers.
It folds up. easy storage and it goes to job sites.
I bought mine with the saw about a week before the MFT was released so I couldn't take it home with me. That gave me a week to discover what the saw can do. I realized right away that the saw's potential couldn't be met without the table.
It is also faster and more accurate for cutting dadoes and sliding dovetails when you attach a Festool router to the rail.
