February Kapex dicount review

      I think you should reread the posts in this thread. All any of the members were doing was to offer possible reasons in response to your post as to why your Kapex order is delayed.  You are the one who posted. You should expect replies that offered possible reasons. It might be Festools fault it might be something else.  I am betting at least one of the reasons suggested is correct. Only Festool knows for sure. And like most companies they will not discuss their inner workings publicly. That's the way companies work.  If you wanted a response only from Festool or your dealer, then you should not have posted on a public forum.

      No need to be name calling, generalizing, reading things into posts and attacking those that were trying to help and offer suggestions about your Kapex order problem.  The members of this forum didn't delay your order, they only offered up what they could in response to your post.

    Further posts that attack and insult will be removed.

Sorry, I have not been in a position to be in front of the computer this morning, so apologies for the delayed response.

I think I've been upfront about the backorder situation and given the best information that I've had available. I would like to again apologize to anyone whose order has been affected by lack of inventory on our side.

For obvious reasons, I can't tell you the number of Kapex sold or on backorder since that's proprietary information and in the end it will not help to expedite your order. I have a lot of pride in working for a company that is honest with its customers. So, know that I this is not some type of corporate conspiracy.

We have more inventory inbound to our Indiana warehouse to help resolve the backorders. As I said before, orders will be filled in the order they were received from your dealer.

While I would hate for it to happen, if someone gets tired of waiting you can cancel your order. A dealer should not be collecting payment for an order that has not yet shipped though. That is a credit card merchant policy, not a Festool policy.
