We are now taking pre-orders for the very limited availability SYS-MFT FX Clamp Set. Ships on April 1st. Some of you may remember this was offered before a couple of years ago and sold out very quickly.

Includes:

(2) FS-HZ 160 Quick Lever Clamps, 491594
(2) MFT-SP Clamping Elements, 488030
(4) Clamping Elements Knobs
(4) Small Dog Stops
(2) Low-Profile Dog Stops / Bars
(1) SYSTAINER SYS 1 T-LOC

This is probably my most used Festool item.  MFT/sander/CT26 and this.  I use just about all the elements (except the securing knobs - haven't really needed them) every time I am sanding/working on the MFT.  This is just a really handy set!!

I was about to post about this set this weekend if it was available or not since a different dealer listed a pre-order.  I really wish you could buy the insert since I have the stuff that goes in it.  I really don't understand why this is limited, or went away before, it's one of the most obvious things for Festool to sell, everyone with an MFT uses this stuff.  I would have bought this twice not long ago if it had existed.

I was fortunate to have this come out when I bought my MFT; I can't think of using the MFT without the clamping elements and quick clamps in it.

It did not go away. Everything in the set is available separately, including planning stop from Lee Valley. Well, minus the insert, which is waste of volume.

It did go away, people couldn't buy it. It's not about the contents, it's about the whole thing, and more specifically what you can't buy, the insert. The insert is what makes it nice,  and like many things, the sum of buying all the bits separately cost more than just buying this kit.  The dogs with it are different from what I have, I wish TSO made a nice systainer setup for their dogs to organize them.

Is this a US problem?

Here in the EU this is available (it’s not  limited AFAIK)

Yah, I went to Lee Valley's web site  last night and saw the planing stops available. For us who already have everything that the kit does , clamps, dogs, elements all I need to do is pickup the plane stops which I will soon. then create my own kit.

But for those who dont have all the things the kit offers then I can see buying it. But they had it out before as a limited time sale, so theyll have it again after this one goes away. But as I said you can buy the items separately and make you own if it does. Even add different dogs, rail dogs, parf dogs whatever floats yer fancy

Ah, that sucks :(

But that is how we EU feels when it comes to Netflix, Apple, etc. All products and services we don't have. We just have Apple pay (last month)  [blink]

I’ve got one of the planing stops from a Lee Valley.  Very nice.

Just bought a kit here in Aus. Excellent value (big surprise) for AU$419. Separately - Clamping elements $190, Fastfix $93.50ea ($187) SYS1 Tloc $99 = $477. I didnt look up the price for the dogs, planing stops & knobs and the insert. So those are basically free.

All Festool gear in Aus is the same price from all retailers :(

Bump. Just a friendly reminder that these begin shipping tomorrow morning.

Will this kit be released this year? I’ve been trying to find it for the last few months and no one has it! Would appreciate any info, if they will be re release again, or who still has them?

[member=72325]Darius[/member], welcome to the forum. This was a limited time offering from Festool USA. It sold out very quickly. As of now, there are no plans for Festool to offer it again in the near future.
