Festool 2017 Catalogue: PDF please!

Could someone please pass up the line to the Festool salespeople responsible for the 2017 catalogue that forcing desktop users to view catalogues in Adobe Flash is an absolute no-no these days. Flash is dangerously vulnerable and most browser makers are therefore making it harder and harder to use (Google Chrome now blocks it by default and Firefox is going that way). Anyone who values their computer security will not run Flash.

Additionally, "interactive" catalogues just slow you down, as you cannot use your favourite PDF reader to quickly read, index, annotate, zoom, and easily cut and paste part numbers etc. I know it gives companies a better understanding of the pages that people are looking at. But for users, it's a real pain.

PDF format is currently the best way to give unfettered access to the catalogue ... which makes it easier to buy more stuff, right?

Even if the interactive catalogue stays, please can Festool also make a PDF version available?

If you speak German, that works well, but I haven't found a combo of languages/locales that works to get me a European English version.

They shouldn't  be making this so hard....

With March quickly approaching let's hope that a catalog for North America will be released soon, AND that it will be in a usable format.

Trying to use the software that the catalogs above use is ridiculous. One would think that the goal is to have users eager to read the catalog, not get frustrated and go away....

In the past the Festool NA catalogs have been in PDF format.

go to the links below for your desired language and save as a pdf file.
Thanks for this, but unfortunately, those links only work if you have Flash installed. That's the sticking point....

I'm guessing that the 2017 North America catalog won't be released until Festool is ready to announce their price changes.

Asked a friend who has Flash to save as a pdf file, and it came up with the following address:https://eflip.database.de/Festool/HK_2017/GB/content/Festool-Main-Catalogue-2017-UK-EN.pdf which is clickable (if slow).

So my personal problem is solved, but it would increase Festool sales for everyone else if it were easily available, rather than through a Flash link...

Mmmmm! There is another Elephant in the room here. It's name is Apple. Whilst on my iPad  I could download the German Catalogue, and even get it to work interactively once; there remained many blacked out pages due to the lack of support for Flash within the Apple OS. PDF can be interactive too!

[member=20220]Mr_Mod[/member], yes true,  there appears to be no Aussie catalogue version.

This is what you get when you attempt a DL of  the Australian Catalogue. Note that it refers to a 2015 catalogue. Another negative Mark here for the Aussie operations.

Via their FaceBook Page, I have been told that Festool Aust is about to rebuild their WebPage.
