Jolly handy little tool it is to.

Here that tool would primarily be used for inserting lags into wooden framing to allow hanging of suspended ceilings.  Is there a common other usage on your side of the pond?

Peter

It could be used for that over here, not sure it was designed for a particular task, I've used mine for putting in large threaded hooks into joist for supporting bikes etc. As for the cup hooks, that works as well.

Well, I never thought i would use that "eye" thing. It was in my 2007 set. But in the last few weeks I have used it quite a few times. Especially as I kept putting the bloody hook in the wrong place - user fail !

However, if you thinking of socket sets... Go for the Wera Socket Sets. Expensive but brilliant. Yes, better than Festool...

I'm not 100% certain, but I think the Festool socket set in the mini-systainer may be made by Wera, just badged Festool. It should be for the price... [blink]

I thought it was Wiha that supplied this kind of stuff to Festool.

Wiha, Wera, whatever! [tongue]

Seriously, I think you are right - my mistake. They do sound similar though...
