Hi,

I just picked up 5 boxes of 484161 which is Rubin 120 grit.  I also have 36, 50, 80, and 100 grit in sealed boxes.  I thought I got a deal, but these discs don't have holes for dust collection.  How old are they and are they worth anything?

Thanks,
Rich

The good news is that the RAS just got discontinued and as a result has been on sale at Festool dealers and people are buying them up like crazy. The sandpaper is still made but people are buying it right now for their new Sanders. Put them in the classified section and I bet you will sell them fast. OR go buy a RAS 115 at Tool Nut. I think their current price is $215 and I think the original retail price was $360? I think that Rubin was discontinued and currently the sell Rubin II and Saphir for that sander. I think that the current retail price is $28 for a box of 50 for the Rubin II.

Thanks so much for the info.  I have been fighting the urge to buy a RAS

What to do ?!?

Thanks!  Rich

A RAS for $215 is like giving them away. I paid €235 for a used one 7 years ago, without systainer.

The universe send you message by throwing that paper in your lap, don't let this opportunity go to waste. If you don't like it, wait for half a year and sell it here for a good profit.

I agree with Alex and furthermore you could sell off a few of the excess boxes of sandpaper to help pay for it😊!

Anyone on this thread want the 50,80,100,120 grits.  Boxes are sealed. I’ll keep the 36 and buy a ras

$80 shipped from CA to conus PP F&f or add the 3%

Thanks,
Rich
