Whoops...just noticed that my post reads like 4" diameter rather than 4" long SST nipples. I'm making a gabion for the garden that will contain water & electricity.

Lol at the cardboard. They finally realized that inlay isn't optimal?

Mine also came with a sheet of cardboard on top and a sheet of puffy plastic large bubbles wrap. I think it's just for shipping and am about to throw all that away.

I do like that 4 slots are empty so I can put other grits in as well. I did have to just toss in a few quart sized zip-lock bags with the ultra-high grits though.

I'm interested in seeing how I like the granat versus the cubitron I've been using.

@smorgasbord I like the Granat and find it a better performer over the long haul than Cubitron, and much more economical as it lasts so long in my usage tests.

It probably damages to the same extent doing edges. Neither are as tough as Abranet in that aspect.

Ok the images didn't load earlier so I assumed you were talking about the Granat Net.

I received mine yesterday, but haven't yet opened it. The unused slots will be helpful as I just got some Granat Net on clearance as well.

… there were supposed to be 9 in stock. I found NONE and asked one of the employees for help, showing him their inventory level on my phone. He confirmed the inventory level on the store computer and went in-search. I came back 15 minutes later and he said he was unable to find the missing nipples.

Yeah, same at Home Depot… inventory of <25 means they’re probably out.
