Rockler's running a clearance sale and happens to have one discontinued Festool item in it - the 577110 Granat abrasive set in Systainer 3. It's 20% off and then the coupon "EXTRA40" knocks another 40% off to $107.40, plus tax (Shipping free to ConUS). Anyway, I just ordered one because hard to pass that up. Usually the coupons don't work on Festool at Rockler....

Thanks! I also ordered the Shinwa 8” sliding t-bevel.

Those are the "Old" inserts, the new one came out spring of this year. It is foam instead of plastic has 8 sections instead of 10 and the foam is much taller, so the sanding discs don't fold in half so easy

I have been pestering festool and systainer usa for the part number to order the insert, but so far you have to buy the whole systainer.

And unfortunately, Rockler is not going to honor all the orders that did get through on Wednesday. ☹️. Why does this feel like it was just a data grab?!
It kinda makes sense since these older Granat Systainers were something that was created by Festool USA. Evidently, it was Festool USA that would take the Granat abrasives and make these sets in Indiana. They did well enough that Festool HQ decided that they would make them in Germany - and that's why the labeling changed on the new Granat Systainers as well as the lower pricing.

Though the sets they put in the M112 Systainers irritate me. Give us the larger M137 or M187 so we can toss other stuff in them.
