Festool 5m hose, diff between parts 204925 & 500684

Looking to get a 5m hose.  I can't find any one that carries both and the two numbers above seem to reference the same part.  Anyone know the difference?  Assuming one is newer than the other.

204925 is the newer type and carries an RFID chip inside so the vac automatically knows the hose diameter. This is only important if you have an M class vac, which are not sold in North America.
