Festool Abrasives for Marble

Can I use any of the Festool abrasives on marble?

When I installed a marble shower in my home several years ago, I used a wet polisher to remove some high spots and polish the marble.  Unfortunately the wet polisher died before I got it polished as well as I wanted.  I now want to re-polish the marble and was wondering if it was possible to do that dry with one of the Festool abrasives.

I have a RO150 and 150/3, but would add the new RO90 to be able to get into the corners.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Steve

Platin 2 and Diamant are meant for very hard (natural) materials. I have no experience with either of them though.

I have a customer that uses Platin to polish the edges of glass tiles after cutting them.

In my pre-Festool days, I have polished the edges of marble tiles with sandpaper from the BORG and a Makita jitterbug. I haven't polished any tiles since Festool.

Thanks Tom.  What about Granat?  Too aggressive?
