It depends on how your mid operates. My mind really likes everything on display, so where possible, I rack tools on pegboard so that I can scan the wall and quickly find the tool.
It was much easier when I had the frame shop. Once equipped, I no longer needed additional tools. But the home shop has me adding new tools or equipment regularly, so keeping organized is more challenging.
I particularly like manufactures’ supplied cases which I keep on a wall of shelves. Because each piece of equipment has a distinctive case, I can scan the shelves and quickly find what I need. I have only one Systainer, adding another would mess up my system.
