The wait is over! Festool has announced the launch of many new tools and accessories for Spring 2022. We are now accepting pre-orders for all of these great new additions to the Festool line up. I expect the Limited Edition SYS-MFT Clamping Set to sell out quickly, well before the ship date, so don't wait to order.

I'm also pleased to announce that we have implemented a new program to award points for your purchases from our websites. Those points can be redeemed on future orders, including all brands.

  • LIMITED EDITION SYS-MFT Clamping Set - VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES - While supplies last!
  • TOPROCK Bluetooth Systainer Speaker
  • OF 1010 R Router - new round dust port, double clamping columns, improved visibility and access to bit area
  • TS 55 F Track Saw - New blade to improve cut speed by up to 2x
  • TPC 18/4 QUADRIVE Hammer Drill
  • FS-KP Guide Rails

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Shane

Huh.

I abhor with a burning passion the "limited quantity" stuff that FUSA pulls with stuff like the Clamping Set, especially when they include pieces that are only available within that set.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go retcon update some posts claiming that half of this stuff won't come to the US before 2023, if ever...

New points system? Any more information about this? Do they transfer over between Toolnut and the Festool site?

[member=69487]jronman[/member] Yes, they are shared between the two sites. All points go into a bucket that can be used on either site. As a gesture of good will, we automatically credited our customers for purchases made in the past 30 days. We will be making a formal announcement soon, but you can find many of the details at the link below.

Let me know if you have any questions. Glad to help answer them.

Isn't TDC the hammer drill? Not the TPC? I'm confused

[member=77065]JINRO[/member], I don't think so. I think the TDC is a 4-speed drill driver. The TPC is "percussion" which I think is what the "P" stands for possibly. Percussion = hammer.

I was looking at the TPC set and the picture shows it with the Air Stream Batteries, one 4.0ah and one larger and SCA 8 charger but the description says otherwise. Is the picture accurate or should we go with the description? My assumption is the description is correct.
Thanks

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind P = Hammer :)

[member=76929]Mjolnir[/member] it's a mistake with the photo, it comes with two 4.0ah batteries. Apologies. It's been corrected, thanks for bringing to my attention.

For pre-orders, are you charged when you order or when it ships?

[member=77142]DSP1578[/member] great question! Like most online retailers, we will authorize your credit card when you place the order. This is a verification of the availability of funds. This is not a charge. But you may see it on your credit card statement as a pending transaction.

The card will actually be charged when the order ships on or around 3/25 for these new items.

Hi Shame,  [big grin]

Looks to me that the hammer drill with impact driver kit 576996 is at a good price break.  Can you post any other picks of the Systainer interior layout (insert)?  When available, please.

Thanks, Sam

Hey, [member=1501]Samo[/member], good to hear from you. Festool didn't provide a photo of the Systainer insert for that set. Let me see what I can find for you.

Fair warning... If you're thinking about getting the Limited Edition Clamping Set, preorder it don't wait. Quantities are quite limited and it's going to sell out very soon, well before the ship date of 3/25. I just don't want anyone that wants one to miss out. It's been three years since the last time we saw a similar kit.

Hey Shane, Maybe I missed it but did you post the price for these new doodads?

Hey, [member=10147]jobsworth[/member], good to see ya. I tend not to post prices because they're subject to change and these posts live forever. All prices are on our website. Thanks, Cheese, for the link.

[member=58857]Crazyraceguy[/member], all of the new items are expected to ship on 3/25, which is the earliest date Festool will allow its retailers to release the new stuff. If for any reason we learn that those dates have changed, we will update our website. What kind of racing do you do? I have an HPDE event this coming weekend, glad the weather is finally warming up and Daylight Savings is around the corner. Time to get back to the track more.

Cool. It seems like this is happening before the time that some were speculating that they would.
I guess I'll put one on pre-order
I don't personally race anything anymore, but many years ago I worked as a mechanic/fabricator for a guy who was into sand drag racing. However, the nickname came from a server in a sportsbar that I used to frequent to watch some kind of racing. NHRA, Indycar, F1, or NASCAR before they ruined it.
