Festool Cast-Iron MFT Fence

Last night, I discovered that my MFT fence was cupped and twisted. If Festool made a cast-iron fence, then I would buy it, today.

I wouldn't.  Cast iron for me means weight, something to rust, and something that if dropped will do damage and also possibly break - or cause a break.  If I had a fence that was not straight then it would be time to visit the EKAT and remedy that.

It is fine...the tools don't leave my shop, so portability and rust are not issues, for me.
