Festool CMS-TS 55R Saw Table Module

I am very disappointed with the standard of workmanship in the saw blade slot on this item.  It appears to have been a afterthought made with a rotary rasp and a electric drill.  It is so bad I accused my supplier of selling 2nd hand goods.  After inspecting a BRAND NEW UNPACKAGED item I was obliged to retract my accusation as it was in a worse state that mine.  To rectify the burrs on the slot I had to lightly draw file the edges so the timber didn't snag on the raised edges.  Also to clean the rosin off the edges in the dismantled state without cutting the cloth or your finger.
I wonder if this is a batch that escaped inspection on a Friday afternoon.  [mad] [mad]

I have this module.  My observations:

On the top surface of the module, there is no burring around the slot.  On the insides of the slot, they are very rough as you describe.  Underneath, as in on the bottom of the module, there is very, very minor burring, but I really had not noticed it until I examined it after your post.

I have the 75 module. same thing but It doesnt affect the quality of the cut, I havent felt any burrs, so I dont sweat it. It does what it supposed to do and I cant ask for more than that.
