Thanks for the fast response, here to hoping you decide to have the sale!
Seemed like a huge hit last year with how long the line was. Only downfall was how long it took to get through it.
Half way through I was very happy to fill out the order form and just wait for the tools to be shipped to me 4 days later.

I just what to give a heads up.  There is an Indianapolis Colts game on the Sunday after the event so with all the pre-game hoopla there might be shortages of rooms.  Last year there were events the weekend of the event but do not wait to the last moment to book rooms wherever.

Thanks for the offer. I booked at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis NW - Whitestown. I have a car rented if anybody else needs a ride.

I'd offer rides, but it turns out I will not make Connect this year (unless a wedding gets canceled, or my wife tells me I don't have to attend [big grin]).

I will be down Friday night for the FOG meet and greet.

I am staying at the same place. I will arrive at the Indy airport about 2:00 PM on  Friday(15th). I am flexible. I have a car rented. I need to leave the hotel by noon on Sunday(17th), back to the airport. Let me know if I can assist with your transportation needs.

An official announcement about a Festool Connect recon sale has been delayed. However, it is looking very likely. I wouldn't plan on being able to ship tools, though.

It's OFFICIAL. A limited selection of reconditioned tools will be available for a "charge and carry" sale at Festool Connect 2017. Please note the following:

• All transactions will be done via a credit/debit card. No cash, checks, etc.
• There will NOT be an option to ship tools.
• All reconditioned tools will include a one-year warranty.
• There will be a limited selection of reconditioned tools available while supplies last.
• No new tools will be available for purchase a Festool Connect. Recon only.

No shipping?  Understandable- that's probably why the line was so long last year.  Glad I'm driving this year in case there is something on the list I cannot live without.

There are a couple of UPS and FedEx stores along the northern perimeter if Indy ; and down by the Speedway for those going to the airport.

Not as convenient as ship from the warehouse.  But if ya gotta have a domino at 30% off , you'll figure out how to make it work  [wink]
