Festool Contura Edgebander KA65 due in Australia date

Hi guys and fellow Aussie Festoolians,

I have ben seeing the things about the new Edgebander on this forum so I contacted Technics Australia who informed me as follows:

So we have plenty of time to save our pennies and we by all account will need a few wheelbarrows of them too as this baby seems like it will top the Festool Price Chart
but we have to wait and see.

By just cutting back on one gourmet pizza a day for the rest of the year [wink] [big grin]

I reckon they'll have come up with something a little more elegant for the fixed station by then too ... I don't like the doctored MFT/3.

We're probably going to see a bit more Vac Sys happening too I'd imagine ... hope it goes T-Loc.

I posted in an earlier thread with a link to a site about trademark names - for some reason, Festool have let the trademark slip on the term 'VAC-SYS'. Maybe they're going to call a newer version something different?

Yes, I recall ... seem still have them covered down here http://www.ipaustralia.com.au/applicant/tts-tooltechnic-systems-ag-and-co-kg/trademarks/

Anyone know what a "Twinner" is - hopefully not a twin counter rotating blade monstrosity!!!  [eek]
