I will try to post one tomorrow. Nothing fancy I have a shop built MFt that is approx. 28"x97" I cut out a section in the middle and made an insert to pop in and out. I didnt make it very wide just wide enough for 2 of those plastic skis they supply. Just FYI the plastic skis have 3 holes and they are on 96mm spacing which is nice. I want to make some plastic dogs that I can screw to the skis permanently and then just pop them in and out as needed when I use the conturo. 28" is a tad tight on the depth, it doesnt leave much room in front but I figure thats OK since I typically will use it bench mounted for smaller pieces and handheld for bigger stuff. However 28" is probably about as narrow as I would go. I ran the face edge of some lower cabinet gables so approx. 30x24 panel and had no issue. Thats about the biggest I would do before pulling it out of the bench mount and going handheld, Do you have a cnc? I have a dwg. I can send for the cutout if you do.
One other thing. You might want to pick up some 6mm flat head screws. There is a flat metal plate that gets screwed down in front of the conturo and none of the screws in the package would work. (I think you need 3 screws if I remember correctly) The supplied screws heads were all to small and would pass right through the holes in the plate. Not sure if I got a one with missing screws or they are all like that and I didn't read the directions. Either way I happened to have some 6mm flat heads and they worked perfectly. Other than that and the price it seems nice. The conturo is great machine I know someone who has one of the Makiswa edgebanders that swears by it. It does work really good too. However, even though the conturo is more, the glue costs considerably more etc. The flexibility to do radius and angled projects makes it worth it. I just finished a closet organizer with lots of radiuses and have a Tv console coming up that is radiused and will require lots of varying angles. I couldnt do either job without the conturo. I think its one of the better tools Festool sells.
