Hi  [smile]

Wanted to start a thread with info/dates for those of us that are planning future purchases and might want to wait for the different Festool machines and accessories becoming available in the new SYSTAINER³.

Festool's conversion plan (T-Loc to SYSTAINER³):
January 2020 : TS 55, ETS EC 150, ETS EC 125 (https://www.festool.co.uk/campaigns/microsites/mobility#FAQ)
Summer 2020 : T and C drills and screwdrivers and Rotex's (Called Festool.dk)

If you have any info, please share  [smile]

Kind regards

I'm sure covid had something to do with the delay, but the RO125 that I just got from Toolnut came in the new design. Thankfully it was sooner than originally estimated, but mid-November it was.
I'm not so sure I like it? They don't match the others. The top handle swings the opposite way. The logo faces the other direction. The only thing that might be nice is the handle on the front, but if you are a guy who is in a fixed location, with Sysport style storage? No actual benefit there either.

My RTS400 i just picked up was in a Systainer3 here in Canada.  I'm mostly neutral on it but those handles are far worse nail-breakers than the clips on my Makita Sys Classic clones.
