I've installed four of the corner connectors as I am making a bed frame. If you exactly follow the instructions, the connectors work really well. I made the mistake of not screwing the bolt all the way into the anchor and didn't get much drawing together. I reread the instructions and tightened the bolt all the way in and got a very strong drawing together.
Accuracy in placing the mortises is critical! I used the middle pin on the 700 to cut the mortise for the 14X100 tenon and then again for the connector mortise.
The connectors are a great product, but I hope Festool develops one for 3/4" material.
