Festool CT 33

Is $499 plus tax, a good price on an unused CT 33, made in 04 ? I'm also looking to buy a sander. The same store has a slightly used 150/5 for $294 plus tax. Total cost $843. Or am I better off buying a new CT26 / 150/5 sander package ? Best price I found was $828.

I have a Festool drill, but this is my first really big Festool purchase, big for me anyway. Any advice welcome.

    The new CT26 + sander is  less than the CT33 and slightly used sander? That is a no brainer to me. Go with the new package.  Technically the CT33 has a little more capacity than the CT26 but I think in practice there will be very little difference.

Someone else probably has better info than I about the history of the model, but there has been at least one motor update that yields lower weight and better performance in the newer models.

If you can't talk him down some (or is this at a dealer? not even sure what the corporate policy is on pricing discontinued items), for $499, I'd personally get the smaller MIDI just to have the newer motor.
