Festool CTL Midi Power Issue

Hello,

I have had my midi for around 4 years and has been performing fine.

The last few days I have had a problem. It will work for 30 mins or so but then when I come back to use it again no power is getting to the machine.

I have checked the fuse and different power outlets. Recently changed the removable filter as well.

Is there anything else I could try at home before having to send it off?

Quick update. When I came back to the machine after it was not working. I plugged it in, the green power light came on for 1 second then everything went off again.

Festool UK is advising that there are delays in their repair and servicing department.

Tools requiring collection had to be booked by yesterday (December 6th) in order that they are returned to customers by Friday 20th.  Tools arriving with them after Monday December 9th will be stored in their warehouse and booked into the workshop on Monday January 6th.

The repair portal will reopen on Thursday January 2nd with collections starting on January 3rd.

I think I read (but can't see it now) that they will still honour warranties that expire during this period.
