Festool CTL-SYS + Festool Bluetooth Remote Control Hack

Hi Folks,

Recently bought a CTL-SYS and found out that it cannot option in for a bluetooth remote from Festool.
I had started doing some finding and decided to build a relay module that can control the CTL-SYS like the Festool Bluetooth should.

I have the Festool Bluetooth remote for the CTL 25  … but for my MIDI I bought a $10 Bluetooth  power plug … plugged my MIDI into the socket and attached the remote to the hose using a Festool fastening strap … works exactly the same

I must confess that the method described by msnelling sounds easy for me, esp. I already have the remote control and spare outlets/plugs. I'll give it a try this weekend after the deep freeze lets up.

The ntlord's solution looks more elegant and professional, but is beyond my technical skill (most of the science stuff I learned in high school and college is gone from lack of use!).

It works on any vacuum, since it just switches the vacuum on and off via the AC
