I own 22 festool tools. I've never had an issue with a single one of them.  But had an issue with a drill charger, I called up tech support. STEVE answered the phone and totally blew me away with the simplicity of tech support.  He went above and beyond to fix my issue, and get this. He actually read my post about it the other day, and knew exactly what was wrong with my charger, this guy rules, he deserves a raise, and people like this, and service like this, is the whole reason I will only ever use festool.  I'm totally obsessed with it.  Even more so now.  Thanks again STEVE, you rule my friend.  Sam
 
They outsourced it to a bunch of guys in Indiana.  ;) [tongue]

 
I own a dozen or so tools and haven't had a problem yet but it's great to know Festool has such good customer service if I ever need it!

I talked with him today.  [unsure]

It turned out, with a little patience, his suggestion fixed my problem.  [big grin]

I'd call it Excellent Customer Service!

Do you mean you talked with the same guy as I did.  Did you mention my post to him. Hopefully he read it.  I appreciate people who give a damn. His generous actions should not go unnoticed.  Thanks again.  Sam in PA.

I saw your thread after I called yesterday!  I don't know how many Steves are in the service department at Festool?  I work with three  [blink] so we use last names.

Except for me.  I'm special.  They call me "Hey, get over here."
