Dave and his posse will be up at the shop on the 26th focusing on the Domino.  Presentation will run about 10-2.  If everyone's well behaved we'll be sure to have some coffee, snacks, tasty treats, etc.

Remember, price increase is Febraury 1.  This is a great opportunity to check out our huge Festool display and test drive anything you've been on the fence about.  Ask the experts, factory trained salesmen and seasoned professional users all those lil' questions you may have been holding onto.

More info to follow.

Its going to be a fun day as always playing with some tools and hanging with the tool nut gang. I will be there showing off how I use the domino in trim carpentry to help me get amazing result out in the field.  Plus as a added bonus Builder Bob will be demoing how he uses the domino to make drawer boxes.

It will be a great time as usual, plus I need to stock up on some abrasives before the price increase  [eek]

Dave

Yay I'm excited to hang with the "Posse"!  I look forward to seeing everybody as I don't get out to the Nut as often as I'd like...hope the coffee is good lol!

See ya then!

I may have to darken the doorstep up there that day...

I have no idea what that means

I think that it means that he is coming - his shadow will darken the doorstep .

Is my inability to compute a reflection of my age or intelligence?  Had never heard that.

Not much of me to darken much of any doorstep.
Maybe just a small corner?  maybe?

Gonna make the trek with Bob and may try to bring some friends too, Eric

Will there be some video taken and displayed here for those of us who can't make it? That would be most excellent!

It's looking like a good turn out. I can't wait to see everyone and catch up.

One of the projects I will be showing is using the domino to make a coffer beam.

Looking forward to seeing everyone

Sorry bud.  Maybe I should have just said I'd be coming to the event.  But the other guys correctly translated it for me.  [smile]  So you in a couple weeks.

Don't apologize!  I was screwing around ;)  See you @ the demo.

Ooooops!  I have been doing my snow dance all winter so far.
I must have screwed up the step somehow.
It looks like snow Friday nite and into Saturday.
Bummer.  If it does, I will probably be plowing/sanding most of Saturday.
i'll have to see what time it starts and hope no ice is mixed in.

Hey Tool Nuts, Thanks for another great Demo Day.  The perpetrators of fine joinery, Bob and Dave, as usual, did a great job of showing us how.  It was great visiting with some of my FOGgy friends as well.

I do have one complaint that I am directing to Bob and Dave:  You guys are terrible.  If i keep going to these fine demos that you do, i will, one of these days, after enjoying your expertise and imparted knowledge , find myself driving home with a Domino for company.  you guys are really really really bad. [wink]

To begin why yes the man was there for sure, this was another awesome day at the Nut, besides a nice turn out considering the weather, the demo's went along just great.
Dave and Bob did a great demo on domino usage for sure. Many questions were answered and people went home with new Toys for sure.
I left with a Kapex and Ugg setup, finally took the plunge after selling my old saw off.

Looking forward to next event, for sure, my turn is coming for a demo of rails and stiles on the cms

I want to thank Sean, and the whole staff of guys at the Nut for always making this a great day

Sal

It definitely was a great day, cold and a dusting of snow, but at least there was no traffic for the drive.  There were a bunch of people at the demo, some old and a bunch of new faces, and a lot of questions and problems were solved. I love these events everyone has great info to share and I know I always leave learning something new.

Sal your up next, I can't wait to see your cms demo.  I've used and borrowed a cms but I still don't own one maybe seeing your demo will change that  [big grin].

I too would like to thank the toolnut for letting us mess up the Festool area and allowing me and bob to put on a demo. The toolnut boys were amazing as always and what I find amazing I'd even employers that are off always stop by to say hi. Pizza was killer and I can't wait till the next event.
