Hi there.

I purchased the above tool about 16 months ago and I am very happy with the tool's performance.

My problem is Im missing one of the tiny peices of black plastic that sits on top of the tool. (theres one on each foot). I looked in the instructions to find the name of the peice but its not in there. is it possible to buy another?

I never sent off the warranty but still have it so Im not covered by this.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Alex

I think you are searching for the bits in the picture below. Numbers 28 and 32.
Every Festool dealer can order these bits for you. And they only cost 1 Euro each.
With the new "Service All-Inclusive" you might even get them for free when you contact Festool directly.
With my Domino these parts also came off, and I glued them in.

Yes, my caps continually fall off, too!  There is quite a difference between the quality of assembly between my new Domino 500 and my XL.  One would think that Protools is having the newer 500's manufactured/assembled outside of Germany.
