Hi there I have just got a domino 500 and was told the there was a really good guild to using the domino as a extended manual it is written by some called Chris, and it was in the USA owners group if anyone out there knows the location or any thing about it please reply or PM me

Many thanks

Martyn

The supplemental manual is great. I suggest watching videos by Halfinchshy and New Brit. Both are well worth the time to watch. Practicing on scrap is a good idea as well.

The hero on the Festool manual front is Rick Christopherson. His attention to detail is amazing and his work contributed to me buying into Festool.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] I just downloaded the Domino Book. Thanks for sharing. It also had me looking for other manuals and I found Jerry Work's 79 page book. Great resource. Are there any other PDF's out there along these lines that I should know about beside the three mentioned? (Rick's, Jerry's, and now Festool's)

As someone new to all these tools and their quirks what I'm really craving is for someone to put a full book out making common furniture primarily with the Festool system. I bought all the recommended cabinet books and their techniques use older methods that while still valid don't apply to someone who doesn't have room for a shop full of common tools (Table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, router table, etc). I know there's YouTube with erock's great series and lots of other videos out there and I use those as a resource more than anything right now.

[member=57769]TylerC[/member] Can we please get another manual like the Joinery Unmatched for the routers? You mentioned if demand was high enough the company would pursue other tools.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] - I can certainly pass that along. Currently, there isn't one in the works for routers, but we can add it for consideration.

I just happened to stumble across it at the local Woodcraft store. What was of interest to me was the section on making outside doors and bed frame building using the new removable steel Dominos.
