Festool Domino XL Demo Day - May 12th @ The Tool Nut

Peter, I still do 80-85mph all day on the highway. It also just, just barely makes it under the drive thru bank teller at my local Bank of America, Eric

Ken, it was a blast. I spent over triple my budget, all on Festool accessories and a Woodpeckers six inch carpenters square which is gonna live in my bjornkladders. We missed Peter and Sean, but the rest of the crew was great also. Be back soon, Eric

Yeah, it was great seeing all you guys!  Too bad Sean and David were in Vegas battling the Death Star or Klingons or something.  [big grin]

What a week. I had hoped to really make it to this one.  Sooooo--------- wha' hoppen?
both of my big riding mowers ended up in hospital and I had to run the walk-behind for a day.
My back fizzled out and I had to take another day off.
Back in biz on friday and almost caught up/ had one lawn left to do which was finished early saturday morning.
A dear friend called for me to do a rototiling project for him.
how could i refuse?
unhitched the yorkrake from my tractor and hooked up the tiller.
got to the job, tilled about twenty feet and something inside the tiller broke.  [censored] [bite tongue] [off topic]
End of day.
the Festo gods were agin me for sure. [scared]
If I live long enough, I'll get there one of the times.

Ken  It was a fun day again at the Nut, It was great seeing all you guys there and sharing our stories.
You could have left one of those pictures out  [wink]

I did.  There are no pictures of you in a kilt with the light saber.  [big grin]  Great to see you again, Sal!

Eric, sounds like a good time was had - especially with you wild and crazy CT'ers (Right Bob?!). Next time I'll be there!

Sal, I didn't think the pics were bad at all (unless I'm missing something).... It takes a LOT to get me in a photo and for some reason, that camera seems to follow you around! You must be doing some sweet demos.....

Next time, my friend - it's always good seeing you and catching up over a cup of coffee. I walked into the store this morning with rods of Domino's scattered on MFT's - like the guys left them out for me to see what was missed!!!!

Peter, nice store, great guys working there and huge selection on the floor, Eric

Thanks man - and I got your message regarding Woodpeckers layout. Crazy weekend between the kids party and Mother's Day - it will be addressed!

Thanks Peter, but it feels like it takes forever for me to get them up and available dealing with Picasa.  Maybe after 100 more demos and pics I'll have mastered it.  [big grin]

I use Picasa and iPhoto. I have my own methods for uploading if you're interested. Just PM me and maybe I can make your life easier with that. I'm always snapping pics of my kids and have gotten great at batch renaming files on a Mac using Automater, as well as importing to iPhoto and uploading to Picasa. I really think you're doing everyone a great service and adding to the community doing what you do. If I can make it easier on you and less of a burden, please let me know. I'm happy to help. Workflow with pics is something I've been trying to perfect myself for years!

Peter, its your finest line behind Festool. If you push that line, you will have repeat customers, Eric

Good point Eric. Thank you. Let me speak with Sean and management about better positioning of the product.

Hey guys, so sorry I missed this day.  Kinda feel like I may have let some of you down because I'm so so important ;)  I kid, I kid.

Landed Friday night from a business conference out west and immediately got sick around midnight.  I'm 2 for 2 on flights back from Nevada (yes, Vegas) this year and contracting some sort of wacky sickness within 12 hours of landing.  Not sure what's going on.  And no, it's not because of one of the 8,000 jokes I'm sure you're ready to lay on me!

Anyways, sounds like the day was a blast.  Eric, glad you got to make it to the store.  Was sweet to meet ya at JLC, sorry I missed here in our house.

We'll be having a Reinhold Event (might the name stick?) probably in late June or July with an actual build / project going on.  Maybe cabinets, cabinet doors, who knows.  It's up to Dave.  We'll keep you guys in the loop.
