Hi all,

Quick question. I'm ordering a few replacement parts and I've found what I'm looking for on the ekat website no problem but in the quantity header it says 4. Does that mean when i order using the part number it will come with the 4 included or do i need to order the same item 4 times.

I fell for that one too the first time. If it says 4, it means the total number of that particular item in the tool is 4, but you order them one by one.
 
The number shown is how many of that part is required -- NOT the quantity shipped when the part number is ordered. Unless it specifies otherwise, assume that the quantity shipped is 1.
 
So quick question, I should be able to order anything I see in EKAT just by calling the USA Festool service department? Want to order a couple of attic lids for my Domino and Carvex. I was able to pull the part numbers I need just didn't see how to order them.
 
Just to let you know, if anybody is ordering Ekat parts in Australia it has to be done via your local Festool dealer.
 
sorry guys but i need some more assistance. My kapex got stolen few months back and I'm just about to re-order a new one, I still have my ug cart and wings as for some reason they took only the saw and disconnected and left the rest behind. I need to order the plastic supports that connect the saw to the cart as unfortunately they left with the saw, so am i correct in thinking that this is what i need to order

pos no.1 four times
pos no.2 four times
pos no.3 two times

Looks like one side is a little more complicated than the other. I would suggest a call to Festool Service with an explanation regarding the loss would be the best bet as they'd be able to advise exactly what was required.
