Festool Ets ec 150 Recall

when will there be a fix and when will they be shipped out again I recently ordered one and the one I ordered was defective.

There is not a recall announced. 

Now I will say that many here love to use the word recall.  Recalls rarely happen unless they pose a risk to human injury with tools.  Recalls are coordinated if necessary with government authorities as required.

Ok the "Issue" with the unit turning off and on randomly

Subscribing to this thread - have had two different ets ec 150/5 with this issue and am aware of several others that are having similar trouble.

I have this issue with an ETS EC 150/5 I got just 2 weeks ago. Do we know if all units since a certain manufacturing date are affected? Or is it just "random" units?

And I thought festool field tests new products before releasing them. 

Either they don’t, didn’t, or did a really poor job with this one.
