Will this new sander attachment work with the Festool Pro 5 Ltd sander.  I understand that this sander is basically the same as the Festool ETS 125 REQ?  Also, when will this attachment be available in Canada?

Yes, the edge sanding guide will be compatible with the Pro 5.
