Festool Finish Line Magazine about Painting

Sharing this in the Paint and Finishing section for those who may not know that Festool puts out a free publication called "Finish Line".

It is part magazine, with articles featuring painters and drywallers in the act of painting and drywalling. And it is part catalog, showing all of the bits of kit that are relevant to painters. Fun all around fix.

Just received the latest edition today. Rather interesting. I did note that the new cordless sanders were not offered in a kit form, ie with a battery and a charger. Rather everything was ala carte.

Not sure exactly what is shown in Finish Line but the sanders are available in three delivery configurations.     

    Basic = Tool only (no battery , no charger), Systainer.

    Plus =  Tool, 2x batteries, charger, Systainer

    Set =  Tool, 2x batteries, charger, power adapter, Systainer

Well that's what I thought, that's the reason it struck me as odd that just the bare tool was listed and the battery was listed separately.

I believe so. They are no longer available on the Festool website. I only have  4 of the brochures. Spring & Fall 2016 and Spring & Fall 2017. They were available under the title of Magalog.
